Kalafrana Cottage, st ives is a beautiful cottage 2 minutes from the centre of st Ives. Beautifully appointed in keeping with its Cornish heritage, comfortable, homely and stylish at the same time. The owners are brilliant and gave us detailed information for everything we needed. A great find would definitely return 😊

Absolute terrible.

Absolute terrible. Booked 2 flats for my daughter’s 21st in Liverpool. Website took nearly £1500 and then said the Rooms are not available. Refund in 24hours. No refund. Contacted laterooms and they said contact booking.com Contacted booking.com and they said it is nothing to do with them. Company is a scam, total fraudulent activities by laterooms.com, Do not ever use these scam artists. Police have been contacted regarding this company.

zero customer service or comunication

I have just book a break with late rooms, put in all my payment details and booking details, the screen popped up with a confrimation and a code. I didnt make a note and clicked on the home screen, I know cant find a conteact number and there is no one to email, I have had no email confrimation and I really really dont know what to do as there is no one to aks or to check the booking with and you can log in unless you have a pin which you need via email and ive had no email after requesting several times. I have gone around and around, trying to find someone to help me, ive sent a message on thier social media, ive left a question on thier site but Im just getting nothing. I simply want to know if I have book and what my booking referance is. really bad intial customer service is all I can say, I dont want to rebook as I dont want to be charged twice.

Be a bit more transparent ( 6 flights…

Be a bit more transparent ( 6 flights of stairs) we both have arthritis… luckily the hotel was able to switch us to the first floor .

McDonalds Elmers Court Hotel -Lymmington

Hotel is substandard . Room was double booked at time of booking , offered a change with free breakfast and a bottle of prosecco as an appeasement . room 23A had a bad odor everytime you entered . Paper peeling on the walls, Bathroom door delaminating, bath panel obviously got wet and has misshapped . Staff at breakfast incapable of bringing tea and coffee with Milk , asking for a large portion of scrambled eggs , got given a side plate full . tables delaminating , mis matched chairs in use . Skirting boards in need of a repaint . Hotel - generally tired and in need of investment. Four star rating ??? this wasnt even worthy of a three . is this good value for the best part of £500 ? No chance . All reported to manager - who made notes but seemed toothless. In my opinion avoid it to avoid disappointment .

First time using Late Rooms to book…

First time using Late Rooms to book accommodation. Paid for non refundable room and then happened to call the Hotel to ask a question ,they said that my booking had not gone through as they were booked up so was advised that I would get an email from the company I booked through.I did receive an email with options to choose .I wrote 3 separate emails choosing the option to cancel and organise my alternative accommodation ,which I did .I didn't receive any response,the automatic online query feature didn't help.So the evening prior to booking into my choose accommodation I received an email saying that an alternative hotel had been found and if I didn't respond to the email within 4 hours that would be taken that I had accepted it .So I responded again and got an automated response .The Hotel they had booked me into was difficult to contact but eventually I spoke to someone on the next morning,told the gentleman my story and they didn't have any booking .So I am awaiting the refund to appear in my bank account of which I doubt it will ,so on advice of my bank I can claim it back as I used a credit card I feel totally let down and will not recommend or use this faceless company again as I feel I have just given my money away .
