I will never use you guys again

I will never use you guys again. You sold me a American Airlines ticket and offered me insurance which I decided to get. For the purpose of me being able to change or cancel my flight if needed. I call to change my returning flight just for them to tell me that America Airlines does not accept the insurance policy that THEY RECOMMENDED I PURCHASE! SO NOW, I am not able to change my flight unless I want to purchase a new ticket. I am also not able to cancel and get a refund as they won't do that either. Nor will they refund me the price of the policy they sold me. All while knowing American Airlines doesn't accept it. Unbelievable. My family uses your company constantly and we will never be using you again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING EXPEDIA!

We used expedia to book three different hotels for an upcoming trip. One of our travelers had emergency surgery two weeks ago, and we had to postpone our plans. The airline, all the hotels we scheduled through booking.com, and the rental car company were sympathetic and assisted us in canceling everything. The two properties we booked through expedia refused to do so, even though in two cases, the hotels were willing to do so if expedia contacted them, which they did not. This is an untrustworthy, money-grabbing business, which should not only be avoided, but should probably be sued for fraud.

I booked flight from London to Chisinau it was returned flight but I missed my departure flight so they canceled my returned flight also I paid around $818 now they are asking me to pay 900 $ more to get same flight it is unfair if in any case someone missed flight they cancelled returned not acceptable.

Unfair booking charge

I had wrongly booked a day's holiday in a hotel. I inserted the 28th of June instead of the 28th of July. After 2 hours, I realised this, but I could not get any result from them about changing the date. The only way I was told was to make another booking and lose the money for a booking purchased 3 hours before. This is really ridiculous. When I was booking, I specifically looked to get a free change booking just in case, but in the end, they told me that it was a non-refundable booking. Please keep in mind and don't buy from this company. It's playing totally unfair...

What the hell?

What the hell?! My husband was being so sweet and wanted to have a fun romantic weekend in Vegas, just the two of us. We had a room at the condominiums at the mgm grand, and then we found out at 2am in the morning that the reservation was cancelled on Tuesday, two days prior to our Thursday check in. We called their customer service and they said it was cancelled because we arrived too late, but it had already been cancelled before that. We couldn’t find a place to stay this morning so we booked a 2 night stay at Mandalay Bay. We’re just happy we could sleep in a bed now. They felt sorry for us and let us check in 5 hours early because we had spent the whole night playing slots and didn’t sleep at all. We had originally booked our new stay through Vegas.com and they had trouble through their paying system, so that got cancelled. We ended up just doing a walk in, the lady who we called from their customer service (Expedia take notes) stayed on the line with us until everything worked out. It was basically the same rate we had initially paid online too. Expedia, I’ve gone to you for reservations before and now I may avoid you entirely. I hate the fact that you blamed us, while we got not one email or call saying it was cancelled. While we waited for our room to be ready we ended up at Ri Ra’s Irish pub and someone had paid our bill. Maybe we looked sad or tired, but it felt like the bad day had a rainbow at the end of it.

Wir haben über Expedia Flug + Hotel gebucht. Im Buchungsprozess stand ausdrücklich, dass beim Flug 1x Handgepäck und 1x Aufgabegepäck pro Person inbegriffen sei! Nach Buchung und Zahlung erhalten wir die Bestätigungsmail der Fluggesellschaft. Dort steht, dass KEIN Gepäck inbegriffen ist! Das ist in meinen Augen Betrug! Wir haben den angebotenen Preis gezahlt mit der eindeutigen Angabe auf Expedia, dass das Gepäck inbegriffen ist! Nun müssen wir nachträglich Geld zahlen, damit wir überhaupt Gepäck mitnehmen dürfen. Wenn man Expedia kontaktiert, heißt es nur, dass sie die Informationen zum Flug nicht einsehen können. Vor allem kann man den Flug nachträglich auch nicht stornieren, ohne dass Kosten anfallen.

Zero stars. The offers on the Expedia are not updated. Booked a place to stay on holiday, they took money straight away and everything was confirmed. 20 mins later got the email it was cancelled cause the place I booked is not available in that time. They refund the money but I received it next day and got back less money than I paid. Don't recommend this website/app
