Who Are You and What's Your Vision?

My name is Jonatan Tsuff, CEO and Co-Founder of Noovy. I’m a passionate entrepreneur, ex-hotelier, and father of two beautiful children. After having worked at various independent hotels around Europe for over a decade, I’ve co-founded Noovy. With Noovy, we empower hoteliers around the world to run their hotels better, by offering easier and smarter ways to operate, distribute, and price their hotels. Giving them back control, boost direct bookings, and create unique guest experiences. Our aim is to become the most loved technology partner for hotels around the world.

What Is Noovy All About?

Noovy is the ultimate all-in-one software solution for independent hotels. It allows hoteliers to manage all aspects of their hotel operations in one place, from property and channel management to booking engine and payment collection. We help hoteliers save time and get more bookings and happier guests.

I think it’s the unique combination of our user-friendly software with our amazing support team. Our team will go the extra mile for our users and truly help them improve their hotel operation and results; it’s far beyond software advice. That makes the difference for many of our users.

Who Should Use Noovy?

Independent hotels who are looking to improve their operation. Either by saving time, generating more direct bookings, or improving their guest experience. We see all kinds of hotels switching to Noovy. From hotels going from no system at all to Noovy, to hotels replacing 5 different systems with Noovy’s all-in-one solution. I think our onboarding team is doing a great job in making the switch as smooth as possible for these hoteliers, we’re moving bookings in a matter of minutes.

What Are the Biggest Challenges in Developing Noovy?

I think our biggest challenge was keeping our system simple and easy to use for all our users, while adding more and more advanced features. With many systems, you see that the more features they add, the more complicated the system becomes. We really wanted to do it differently and make sure Noovy stays extremely user-friendly for housekeepers, receptionists, hotel managers, for everyone at the hotel.

Any Recent Milestones for Noovy?

We have added a Shuffle button which re-organizes your booking calendar, so it’s always fully optimized. Many hoteliers are now playing Tetris with their booking calendar to make sure all bookings are allocated to the right room to maximize occupancy, with Noovy, this is no longer needed as we’ll do it for you.

How Does Noovy Integrate with Existing Tech?

Although we are an all-in-one solution, we strongly believe that the hotelier should have the freedom to integrate any 3rd party application to Noovy. Noovy is an open system with a rich marketplace of 3rd party applications, from accounting systems and revenue management systems, to POS systems and lock systems.

What's Next for Noovy?

We are adding more integrations, such as keycard integrations and a scanner integration, as well as a revolutionary self-service kiosk. All to save as much time as possible during check-in/out and make the process smooth for the hoteliers and their guests.

How Has User Feedback Shaped Noovy?

We want to be a true partner for hotels, so from the very beginning, we have taken feedback from our users very seriously. We are constantly monitoring user behavior and talking to our users, actually, all future developments and improvements are based on user feedback.

What Metrics About Noovy Are You Proud Of?

I would say our very low churn rate, we see that hotels switching to Noovy are staying with us. It shows that our users are happy and that we are able to improve their hotel operation and results. Our aim is to be a long-term partner for hotels, so it’s great to see that we are succeeding.

How Does Noovy Comply with Regulations?

This is indeed a big deal when selling a property management system (PMS) in many different countries. We are investing a lot of time and effort in making sure Noovy is compliant in all the countries we have users. Everything from GDPR to local tax or municipality requirements. Noovy is fully compliant with all regulations in all countries where hotels use our all-in-one solution.

Any Success Stories Featuring Noovy?

A property in The Netherlands went live with Noovy a while ago, recently they shared some figures with us and they saw a 40% increase in direct bookings since joining Noovy! We think that’s amazing and exactly the impact we want to make. See the full story here.

How Do You Stay Ahead of Industry Trends?

I think by staying in close contact with our users, continuously collecting feedback, and acting on it. We have some very forward-thinking users and some unique hotel concepts using Noovy, they definitely make our solution better and ahead of the curve.
