Lobbi builds back-office software for independent hotels in North America. It covers the money side of a property: supplier spend, invoices, OTA commissions, bookkeeping and payroll.
Founder Janis Krums bought a Sleep Inn in Tallahassee, Florida in 2023 and relaunched it as an independent property, BOB Hotels. Lobbi grew out of the tools his team built to run that hotel, which still runs on it.
Lobbi is in pre-launch. Its first public product is Spend Companion, a free Chrome extension for hotel purchasing.

Spend Companion: A Chrome extension checks each cart on supplier sites before anyone pays. It compares the item across more than 50 suppliers, including Sysco, Costco, Amazon, Uline, Grainger, HD Supply, WebstaurantStore and Guest Supply, converts pack sizes to a per-unit price, and suggests a substitute when an item is out of stock.
Invoices are audited line by line against every price the hotel has paid before. OTA transactions from Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda and Airbnb are reconciled against commissions to catch overcharges. Lobbi also sorts spend into categories, keeps the books, supports payroll and staffing, and drafts guest review replies for approval.
Hotel health score: Subscores for pricing, comp set rates, guest perception and AI readiness, benchmarked against hotels in the same city. A daily briefing ranks opportunities, warnings and actions.
