Actabl is a hotel software company that combines operations, labor management, business intelligence and asset management in one modular SaaS platform. It was launched in 2022 by bringing together four established hospitality products: ALICE, Hotel Effectiveness, ProfitSword and Transcendent. The platform serves more than 10,000 properties, mainly hotel management companies, ownership groups and branded and independent hotels.
Hotel operations: ALICE manages housekeeping, maintenance, guest requests and guest messaging from a shared task and communication system.
Labor management: Hotel Effectiveness covers scheduling, labor forecasting, timekeeping and employee communication, built around hotel-specific labor standards.
Business intelligence: ProfitSword centralizes data from PMS, POS, accounting and other systems for forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and portfolio dashboards.
Engineering and asset management: Transcendent handles preventive maintenance, work orders, asset tracking and CapEx planning.

The Actabl platform is a set of connected modules that hotels can adopt individually or together, sharing data between operations, labor and finance.
ALICE (operations): Housekeeping with real-time room status, auto room assignment, room rushing and two-way PMS room status sync. Maintenance and guest request tracking with live status updates. Guest messaging by SMS, email and in-app chat, including automated and property-wide broadcast messages. Digital itineraries that staff build and send to guests by email or SMS.
Hotel Effectiveness (labor): PerfectLabor for demand-based scheduling, labor standards, occupancy-driven forecasts, benchmarking and real-time labor tracking, with CoverageFinder for filling open shifts across a portfolio. PerfectTime for timekeeping and payroll preparation through a time clock app. PerfectEngage for staff chat, announcements and a newsfeed.
ProfitSword (business intelligence): Automated income journals, forecasting and multi-version budgeting, sales pace reporting, business plans and portfolio dashboards on web and mobile. ProfitSword budgets connect directly to Hotel Effectiveness labor planning.
Transcendent (engineering): Preventive maintenance executed on mobile with QR code scanning and time and location stamps, work orders, AI-assisted asset setup from equipment photos, condition assessments and CapEx forecasting and approvals.
Integrations: Over 260 connections to PMS, POS, accounting, energy and other hotel systems, including marketplace listings with Mews and Cloudbeds.
Mobile access: Staff-facing mobile apps for housekeeping, maintenance, scheduling and time clock use.
Custom development: A forward deployed engineering program in which Actabl engineers build custom data, analytics and AI tools for hotel companies on top of the platform.
